Located in the A&D building for over 30 years and Manhattan for more than 50 years, St. Charles of New York solves design issues and caters to the millworking needs of gourmand clients. For the most part, clients find the firm's performance efficient and professional, while the quality of its workmanship is consistently praised as high-end. President of St. Charles, Robert Schwartz, schedules an on-site project manager for each job. The small staff of ten has 150 years combined kitchen-specialized design experience. Kitchens from St. Charles start at $100,000.
St. Charles works mainly in Manhattan but will also do kitchens outside the city. We've been told that the company's 3,000-square-foot showroom is one of the only locations in the city where clients can find such exclusive brands as La Cornue. We also hear the showroom displays a wide range of styles, from stainless steel to the more classical and traditional "old-world" kitchen designs.
