Clients turn to Susan Zises Green for her consistently tasteful design, her three decades of experience, and her knowledgeable, professional staff. Many of Green's clients repeatedly seek her services—some have had a working relationship with Green for a decade or more. We are told Green is exceptional at generating refreshing combinations of strong painted hues, clear patterns, and rich chintzes reminiscent of the English cottage or manor house. Clients also applaud Green's warm and cheerful updated takes on traditional design.
Green fields a variety of projects, from those with modest budgets of $50,000 to larger full-scale design endeavors in large single-family homes. The firm is reputedly "very organized" and handles seven or eight projects each year. Many of Green's staff members have been with the firm for more than fifteen years. Most work takes place in Manhattan, but Green has also designed for clients in Palm Beach and elsewhere.
