Founded in 1949 in Bavaria by Martin Bulthaup, the company has long been a household name in Germany. Bulthaup has been in New York for more than ten years now, winning over architects and designers with their sleek, minimalist designs.
But according to clients, there's a lot more to Bulthaup than its trademark minimalism. The firm offers a broad array of styles, from ultra-contemporary industrial looks to muted kitchens with more traditional appeal. Most of the company's business comes from the trade, but its much-praised staff members are more than happy to work with retail customers.
