Incredibly responsive, meticulous, up-front and not in the habit of expensive upgrade suggestions. Complete design competence and the resulting product was exceptional.
The Renovated Home has completed two renovations for me. The first was a complete gut job on a kitchen, the flooring of the entire apartment, the cabinetry, painting, wall paper, electrical and plumbing. The second was painting, doing the floors and a complete gut on a kitchen and the elimination of a wall.

Lee Stahl and his company, The Renovated Home, are not inexpensive. But you get more than you pay for. This is a turn key operation. Their cabinetry people, their painters, their plumbers, their design staff, their tile folks. No worries about this or that contractor not showing up. Lee is meticulous, fanatically devoted to perfection and a pleasure to work with. Came in on budget and exactly on target date. He's always been available for any minor adjustment, though few, for years afterwards

In an industry known for shoddy work and unreliable workers, The Renovated Home is head and shoulders above the rest. Unique and incredibly useful showroom on 3rd Avenue for one-stop shopping. The owner is passionate about his work and his reputation. A true perfectionist who knows this business from top to bottom. Did an extraordinary renovating my upper east side apt.
Major renovation of my NYC apartment. Worked closely with outside decorator/design firm. Established excellent working relations, provided expert advice and guidance. Close supervision of all tradespeople, neat, timely work to the highest standards, no corner cutting; no surprise up-charges. Old fashioned, very high quality work with great pride of accomplishment. Truly a concierge level service provider with one-stop service. Almost want to buy another place so I can have Lee redo it for me. The Renovated Home gets all my future business, no need to comparison shop.

I can't say enough about Lee Stahl and the team at The Renovated Home. I've worked with them on two projects including a gut renovation as well as a more recent "facelift" for my NYC apartment. Their work is impeccable and completed on time and on schedule. The entire team is polite, extraordinarily helpful (all of them go above and beyond) and a pleasure to work with. Lee not only understands what I'm looking for, but even anticipates what I may need in the future - he comes up with creative (and yet affordable) ways to maximize spaces and functionality. Best of all, Lee stands by his work and if things go wrong, immediately works to find solutions.

TRH completely remodeled our apartment. From the planning to the execution the whole project ran superbly. No designer needed, as TRH has the know-how to do it themselves. As a major plus, TRH offers a wonderful yearly tune-up program to help keep the apartment as new.

We hired The Renovated Home for a complete renovation of a 3 bed, 3 bath Park Ave apartment. This was our 2nd time using Lee Stahl and his team and I will never use another contractor / architect! TRH manages ALL aspects of the project from design stages through to completion of the last minute detail. The price may seem high at first but the quality of work and the overall experience mean you get more than your money's worth, especially as compared to using a contractor and architect. Lee Stahl will not quit until each detail is finished to his satisfaction and high standards. He has years of experience in this business and it shows. The job was completed on time and on budget under strict summer work rules. And the high level of service does not end when you move in. TRH was back doing a touch-up of moldings, paint, grout, etc 2 years later! Once you renovate with Lee and TRH, you are part of the family and they take care of you! Truly an unusual level of service.

The Renovated Home makes your life easier in more ways than one. The ease and streamlining of the renovation process from design to build under one roof made the job almost stressless! Additionally, having everything in one place makes the job stay within budget. Lee listens to you and transforms your dreams into reality. His team is clean, courteous and on time. We needed to recreate our apartment to house our blended family and create more bedrooms and larger kitchen. Lee knew exactly what needed to be done and made excellent suggestions. He is also a wiz at problem solving. The Renovated Home stands by their work offering service after the work is complete. If I need something, I just call Lee and his team comes right over. I've never seen such work ethic and honest to goodness friendliness. The Renovated Home is a star!
