Clients say Alfred Wen of KSA Architects is an excellent architect, a careful listener, and a person who approaches each project as a reflection of the client's customized vision. We are told this small firm pays close attention to detail--both in regard to the physical project and the notion of personalized client relations. KSA generally takes on traditional-style projects but remains flexible. Like his keen eye for proportion, Wen's creative, collaborative approach is a valued asset of the firm.
Alfred Wen, a graduate of Princeton and Columbia, is the sole principal of this two-architect firm created in 1981. Approximately 80% of the firm's work is residential, the vast majority of which takes place in Manhattan--particularly on the Upper East Side. KSA also works in the Hamptons and in Westchester and Fairfield counties. The firm's scope of projects ranges from lower six-figure projects up to $1 million in terms of construction costs. KSA charges a standard percentage of total construction costs.
