Fit for a baronial mansion, Baron's trade-only product is said to be "the Rolls-Royce of our industry." Designers enjoy working with Baron Upholsterers and its owners Steve and Paul Urban, thanks to their creative selection of fabrics and styles, superior skill and "honest and reliable" manner.
This family-owned business has been around since 1980, but has a new location offering over 4,000 square feet of showroom samples. The firm's staff of 30 includes several very talented craftsmen, who reportedly adhere strictly to deadlines. Complicated purchase orders are no problem and are always tracked. Besides being "a joy to deal with," Baron is considered among the very best workrooms in New York by its long-standing, well satisfied decorator clientele.
