David Scott creates transitional rooms with a view to the future and a nod to the past. Neutral backgrounds often highlight a thoughtful mixture of vintage, antique, and sculptural shapes with rousing accents. The look is classic in a Chrysler Building kind of way - tasteful, with a kick. Described as "exceptionally knowledgeable and practical," Scott has a distinct vision and works with the client to attain it.
Clients tell us Scott is a "design psychologist" who understands their physical and spiritual design thoughts better than they do, and in turn delivers a highly customized product. Scott has been known to wade through clients' closets to better understand their stylistic interests. Scott has served on the board of trustees at the New York School of Interior Design and was previously in the hotel and real estate businesses.
