FR Review:
Willie Bradley's jovial demeanor and knowledge of his craft make him an industry favorite. This "good-natured" artisan has been in the flooring business for 35 years. Bradley, who worked with marble before switching to wood, established his company in 1967 and began his quest to learn more about the workings of wood. He journeyed to Africa and Brazil, where he studied exotic woods, particularly African teak and Brazilian mahogany. Bradley Floors installs, refinishes, sands and creates custom designs, inlays, borders and medallions for its floors.

The firm also mills and cuts some of the wood themselves. Bradley's A-list of clients includes senators, decorators, architects and celebrities who often call on the company to do projects all over New York City, Westchester and Fairfield counties, the Hamptons, Chicago, Memphis and Palm Beach. Pricing is usually per square foot and estimates are free, with Bradley doing most of them personally. Sources tell us that Bradley and his team talk to the client intelligently about the workings of wood and what the project would entail, making the client a part of the whole process--and not just a bystander. Bradley's work has been featured in publications such as New York magazine and Architectural Digest.

Representative Client Comments:
"Amazing detail." "He really understands how wood works." "Excellent in restoring old wood." "My favorite floor guy." "From strip parquet to cutting-edge black floors--he can do it all." "Very pleasant demeanor and a hands-on businessman."
