The depth of this organization’s resources, its savvy management, and its terrific foremen and staff put Uberto at the top of most designers’ wish lists. This well-staffed firm, which opened in 1983, executes tricky and extremely detailed high-end residential renovations in Manhattan. First-rate cabinetry is produced in a 9,000-square-foot shop located on the historic Red Hook piers in Brooklyn and overseen by a graduate of the Lyc'ee Professionel des Métiers du Bâtiment, considered the finest woodworking school in France.
Principal Pierre Crosby, a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Architecture, is known as an intelligent, soft-spoken man who pays extraordinary attention to detail and brings a measured manner to his work.
