FR Review:
Beloved as a destination for Long Island audiophiles since the 70's, Audio Den also does a brisk business designing and installing home theater and home integration systems. The showroom in Lake Grove–with its mock setups and charming features like a “headphone bar”–is a good indicator of the strength of the firm: good options at every budget point. Audio Den works both with designers and contractors as well as with homeowners directly. Much of their work is in the Hamptons, but they do projects in Manhattan as well. In terms of services, they will design and install anything from a simple distributed audio network to a fully integrated system that covers lighting, blinds, phones and security. Audio Den is a member of the major industry trade organization, CEDIA, and they are certified to install Crestron equipment (two good indicators of their professionalism).
Sources tell us that the company takes on a high number of jobs–sometimes up to twelve during any given week, which can “slow them down during busy seasons.” Few, however, find fault with Audio Den’s technicians, who we hear are expert in accommodating the needs of decorators and clients alike. Especially for service on Long Island, this firm earns solid marks.
Representative Client Comments:
“Conscientious, careful and efficient.” “Not afraid to take on any request, no matter how wild it is.” “Regular local guys who you can talk to.” “Exceedingly neat and easy to get in touch with at all times. They work for my clients in the Hamptons, and my clients invariably end up hiring them to do their other homes.”
