Clients consistently describe Noel Jeffrey as a gentleman and as an expert creator of upscale luxe. He began his design career over 30 years ago, studying design at Pratt and architecture at Columbia. While he is now known for a strong classical-to-eclectic look, his early preference was for Bauhaus. This broad range lends Jeffrey a fluency of stylistic interests, enabling him to meet clients' various whims, all with punch. Even his traditional has intrepid colors and modern juxtapositions to surprise the eye.
The firm usually undertakes complete renovations of substantial size, with budgets large enough to maintain the highest quality. Given his large staff of resident designers and architects, Jeffrey and Company have the capability to manage every aspect of a project and to keep it synchronized. Jeffrey offers customers economic choices in the up-front design stages (e.g. reproductions vs. antiques) and quickly assesses the budget. Clients compliment him for taking complete control of their projects and for staying within budget. Supporters agree that Jeffrey's is as accessible as his staff is excellent.
The firm charges a standard design fee and standard markup over net, with product costs on the higher end. Clients feel that Jeffrey is very expensive, but quite worth the cost.
