FR Review:
Stereo Exchange began life as a place for Manhattanites to trade in their 8-tracks; to this day it maintains a fun, funky feel. Known primarily as a retailer, the firm has an installation division that will integrate high-end audio, video and automation systems into new construction and existing homes and businesses. Working closely with architects, designers, builders and homeowners, Stereo Exchange’s staff is said to understand the latest technologies and provide honest, knowledgeable information, without the techno-babble. Though you might not receive as much personalized attention as you would with a high-end integrator, clients report that you’ll still get an “excellent system” at a reasonable cost. Even if you don’t choose to go with Stereo Exchange’s installers, their SoHo showroom is a good place to get inspired
Representative Client Comments:
“These guys know their stuff.” “A legendary company that is still good, but maybe not at the highest of the high end.” “One advantage you have here is their showroom, so you can see what your system will look and sound like in advance.” “Great option if you’re looking to get started with a more serious set-up, but you’re not ready to go full-on James Bond just yet.”
