FR Review:
This “army of sensitive soldiers” comes equipped with skills and drills, and is as adept performing a smaller apartment remodels as serious upstate restoration work. Many contractors count on these artisans for their millwork and cabinetry talents. Sources say principal Norman Sukkar is “funny and charming” and gives any construction hiccups immediate treatment. Sources rave that these workers are “fast, efficient and incredible problem solvers” who do as promised with minimal disruption of the household and clean up at the end of every day. We also hear that Sukkar is the kind of guy a customer “can call back five years after a job” for no-hassle fixes and touch-ups. Architects appreciate the Collective’s sensitivity to design and its understanding of the big picture.

Sukkar’s workers are described as artists with construction tools – not surprising for a guy with an MFA from Pratt. We hear the group of expert craftsmen in a variety of home services fields work together to produce “thrilling” results for residential clients in Manhattan, Long Island, Westchester and the Hamptons. Since its beginnings in 1980, the firm has been known to deliver a caliber of quality as high as any budget demands. But it can also make a budget go farther than most, with prices ranging from $1,000 up to $10 million.

Representative Client Comments:
“I challenge you to find a seam in any of the moldings Norman and his crew installed, they are that good.” “Been there, done that–these guys blow all other contractors out of the water with their attention to detail and their design sense.” “Guys who can take old walls and turn them into mirrors.” “We were confused at times as to whether they were architects or builders–they solved some pretty sticky issues and at a reasonable cost to boot!” “At the start of the job, they were our second lowest bid. They were fair on any changes, they did some things gratis, and their work was outstanding.” “Norman Sukkar runs a tight ship.” “They were well-mannered, highly skilled and solved several design issues.” “Great finishers. Details, details, details.” “Not only would I use them again... I am using them again. And will continue to do so until I run out of projects or out of money.” “As enjoyable an experience as one could possibly imagine, they’re simply unbelievable.”

Project Description & Comments:
Norman Sukkar and his crew did SUPERB work on both, our apartment in the city, and our home in East Hampton. They were conscientious, clean, creative, and did everything we and our architects asked, and MORE! I can't tell you how many constructions we've been through, but this was by far our most pleasant experience, all the way around.
Cost of Project: $500,001 or more
