Established in 1978, California Closets continues to be a popular choice for homeowners and is used frequently by designers and builders for closet design and organization. With Chicago-area showrooms in Highland Park, Hinsdale, Naperville and at the Merchandise Mart, California Closets offers designs ranging from the merely simple and functional to the elegant and even chic. While resources praise the company's service, they tell us that it's hard to establish relationships with sales personnel because of high turnover. Some references also tell us this company's prices are disproportionately higher than competitors prices for comparable quality. Nevertheless, many customers keep going back, and last November California Closets passed all the requirements necessary to gain the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval.
