FR Review:
Long-time clients of Wiegold, a family firm established in 1940, will be happy to know that the company's recent alliance with Blue Dot Services Co., a national franchise, will not alter the existing management and staff. Why would it? With what we hear is the "best boiler boy" in the business, Wiegold services the North Shore's oldest stokers and boilers. The Blue Dot alliance will, however, give Wiegold expanded support, such as ongoing training and additional resources (see review of Blue Dot Services). In addition to repairing and updating existing systems, Wiegold installs HVAC systems in new construction and renovations. Its expertise ranges from high-pressure air conditioning to steam and hot water heating to custom sheet metal work. The shop is said to be clean and orderly. It is the Weigold policy to respond to 24-hour emergency service calls within 20 minutes.
