FR Review:
Windsor's work is generated principally from a small cadre of top architectural firms and from friends of previous clients who laud principal Matthew Kurtyka's superior work and his crews' delivery of service that exceeds expectations. Windsor focuses mainly upon high-end additions and remodels, plus an occasional new home on the North Shore, where the nature of the work is challenging and the demand for quality is high. Kurtyka maintains, however, that Windsor's pricing is less than its respected competitors.
We hear Kurtyka is honest, conscientious, on time, well-spoken, business-like and highly responsible. Clients say he gives projects personal attention and always maintains control of their progress personally and through a hands-on project manager. Communication, they say, is clear and concise. The carpentry crew wins clients' special praise, as do the subcontractors, which one client calls "neatniks," in appreciation of their respect for his surroundings. Windsor attempts to always use the same team. The firm has cultivated longstanding relationships with subs that have the same level of skill and experience in working with these old stately homes as the Windsor carpenters do.
Representative Client Comments:
"Good builder. Honest man." "I didn't keep things as tidy." "Surprised to get quality as good as I did." "Kurtyka's a quality person." "Came right out and fixed troubles." "Superior work.""No complaints."
