FR Review:
Customers rave that Mark Dierickx and Victor Hernandez are "unbelievable when it comes to rewiring old lamps." Since 1996, they have grown Reborn Antiques from a small company focusing on restoration to a 25-person concern that designs custom fixtures, sells reproduction lighting and refurbishes antique iron furniture, sconces, chandeliers and lamps. The company's philosophy is to work with the original finish to "bring the piece back to life." Reborn Antiques deals most often with the trade, a great number of jobs coming directly from interior decorators and antique dealers who need old pieces rewired.

Both Dierickx and Hernandez got their training by working for years with another mainstay of the Los Angeles antique lighting scene: Paul Ferrante. Reborn charges by the piece and insiders tell us prices range from reasonable to very expensive. In line with its costs, we're told the company produces a truly high-end product. The firm recently designed a new line of furniture and lighting fixtures with a "slight vintage flair," which can be viewed in their newly opened second showroom in the Valley.

Representative Client Comments:
"It's almost impossible to tell their reproductions from a 200-year-old piece. It's amazing." "Even with their large volume, you still won't find a flaw in their work."
