In business since 1981, Stone Source has locations across the country. Long reputed to be a primary source of natural stone for top designers and architects in the Northeast, this firm is a favorite of industry professionals.
Stone Source carries a large selection of alternative stones and tile materials, including award-winning Veneto Glass Tiles. The firm will also do slab work. Stone Source is said to be the largest importer of limestone in the eastern United States and has its own warehouse and fabrication shop in Carlstadt, NJ, where it receives frequent deliveries of natural stone and ceramic tile from Italy. The firm deals mainly with the trade--much of its work is for architects--but will service some high-end residential clients. References assess the firm's staff as knowledgeable and helpful. Showroom locations include Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New Jersey, New York and Washington DC, and the company has offices in Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and Texas.
