FR Review:
Always keeping it friendly and comfortable but still unique, Erin Ferucci does beach bungalows, Sun Valley retreats, Beverly Hills homesteads or fabulous wedding events with pizzazz. Her young and hip client base turn to her for fun "decorating adventures" that are practical, organic and unique. With a terrific sense of what makes an interior fun and inviting, Ferucci uses exotic woods, unusual stones (found on trips to Italy and Brazil) and indigenous products, usually on a more neutral background.

A self-described beach aficionada, Ferucci grew up in California, studied in New York and moved to Paris in 1991, where she organized antique tours for decorators and other Americans. In 1993, Ferucci returned to Los Angeles and set up shop as an interior designer and antiques consultant, following in the footsteps of four previous generations. With the help of several freelance assistants, the firm takes on about a dozen projects each year. Commissions have included glam projects for the Marciano family of Guess Jeans and six projects for Bruce Willis. While there is no minimum—living rooms typically range from $25,000 to $150,000+.

Whether shopping for rare Sotheby's antiques or lamps at Ikea, Ferucci enjoys the challenge of a budget. The firm charges a flat design fee, standard product markups (lower on art and antiques) and good hourly rates for non-product time.

Representative Client Comments:
"I hardly had to tell her anything. Erin makes everything look amazing." "Erin is a true artist. Shades of beige, which I can barely differentiate, come alive in her hands." "Erin was good about balancing the budget: she stuck to her guns on the important stuff and filled in with shabby chic." "She can drop everything and be there." "She speaks French quite well and can easily negotiate St. Tropez or Paris." "While she is fairly available when she is in LA, she can be out of town for a week and unreachable." "The projects had fits and starts, but I am crazy about the end result." "Erin had great resources to get things made when we could not go for the original." "She even helped with the landscaping."
