We hear Bobcat Carpet & Fabric Care is the place to call for all rug and carpet cleaning, repair and protection needs. Founded in 1977 by Al Casas and his wife, Vicky, this family-owned business cleans on-site or in its plant. Al holds certificates from the Institute of Inspection and Restoration Certification (IICRC) and the Association of Specialists in Cleaning and Restoration (ASCR) and clients value his restoration expertise.
The firm deals primarily with residential clients but does a bit of high-end commercial and museum work. The twenty-person firm serves most of West LA, some parts of San Diego, Palm Springs and Santa Barbara, and has done projects in New York and Las Vegas. Hourly rates apply for repair work, while cleaning charges are generally determined by the square foot. There is a minimum fee required per project but moving of light furniture and touch-ups are free.
