FR Review:
This small "diamond in the rough" has quite a pedigree: its two founders, Martin Sonis and Leopoldo Basurto, worked seventeen years apiece before striking out on their own in 1997. Since then, M&L has become "a secret source" for a couple of well-known LA interior designers, who turn to the firm for custom furniture, upholstered walls and bedding. We're told that M&L "can recreate just about anything" simply by looking at a picture or drawing. Fans of this small shop see it as a great place to get an excellent value on top-quality work.
