FR Review:
Owner Peter Scholz and company are as experienced in creating modern European-style cabinets with special veneers and laminates as they are in matching or restoring ornate old moldings. Scholz is a second-generation cabinetmaker who got his start sweeping the floors in his father's shop at age twelve. Today, he manages a crew of eight and orchestrates the day-to-day preparation and planning of projects at Showcase Cabinetry. In over 28 years of business, the firm has remained in high demand; several features on HGTV certainly haven't slowed down foot traffic through Showcase's doors, where patrons can find a showroom filled with its line of cabinets, sample doors, kitchen & bath products, countertop materials and veneers.
A hands-on guy, Scholz also does the estimates and field measuring himself. His firm takes on jobs of every size, from design to installation, and will work with homeowners as well as contractors and architects. We're told Scholz asks a lot of questions and makes sure all options are known at the outset, ensuring the customer stays happy in the long run. The firm is at its best, clients say, when given some creative leeway to execute a design. Indeed, Showcase's reasonable pricing gives clients some leeway as well.
