FR Review:
Not for the traditional or the faint of heart, owner Nancy Kintisch comes recommended by some of the best-known decorators in the country for her unorthodox designs. Kintisch is "a creative dynamo" who won't hesitate to "go out on a limb." If you have an idea that is set in stone, she's probably not for you, but risk takers who love to try something different rave about Kintisch's experiments in painting. It is said that Kintisch does her best work with creative people who are willing to allow a project to evolve.
After getting her BFA in painting from RISD, Kintisch headed out west and developed a clientele. Today, she is well known throughout Los Angeles for her patterning and stenciling, but she also does "fantastic" murals. Typically hired for her painting skills, Kintisch often becomes involved in interior design and color consultation after she arrives on a project. Her studio sells unique and comfortable furnishings, tiles and textiles in addition to her own decorative painting. Kintisch's work has been featured in magazines such as Architectural Digest, House Beautiful and Town & Country. Prices are unexpectedly reasonable for the "memorable" work that keeps the faithful coming back for more.
