Clients call designer Nancy D. Mullan a "traditional New York Lady." Mullan's services span from full-service design to space-planning consultation for any room in the house, with kitchens and home offices her forte. From the culinary novice to the professional chef, Mullan begins each project by interviewing her clients and having them complete a ten-page questionnaire. By doing so, this expert gets an accurate idea of her clients' lifestyles and can proceed accordingly with her "inventive" designs. One customer, a caterer, used Mullan to transform her family kitchen into a professional one and told us she could not have been more pleased. References say that Mullan oversees all aspects of a job, and her subcontractors and craftsmen receive stellar reports, as well. We are told she manages the project with strict attention to detail. Mullan studied at Parsons School of Design and has been practicing for twenty years. The bulk of her clientele is in New York City, New Jersey, Connecticut and Long Island and is quite high-end.
