FR Review:
Rated by CE Pro magazine as the highest-revenue-producing firm in the United States in 2000, Audio Command Systems (ACS) is recognized by clients and peers alike as one of the best in the business. We're told the ACS staff members have the latest training and knowledge in emerging technologies and provide superb service. Founded in 1976, ACS handles audio, video, home theater systems, home automation and telephone systems. In addition, the company coordinates the electronic management of automated lighting, home ventilation and air-conditioning, security and other "smart house" system components.
With four facilities in New York, California, Florida and Georgia, a staff of more than one-hundred and over thirty installers in New York, sources tell us ACS is in great demand and generally works on large, high-end projects. Typical projects run at $75,000 and up, so this may not be the company for a small project. ACS works all over Westchester and Fairfield counties as well as New York City. The company boasts a 13,000-square-foot Westbury facility where technicians build, assemble and test systems as well as perform demonstrations for potential clients. Insiders say the one- to two- year service warranty is exceptional--as are the high-end products such as Crestron, Runco, B&W, Fujitsu, Sony and JBL.
Representative Client Comments:
"Big staff with big ideas." "The best technology available, and you can tell the staff is passionate about it." "Extremely professional and timely--a very well-oiled machine." "Recommending these guys is the best favor I could do for any audiophile."
