FR Review:
From sleek, cutting-edge modernist designs to elaborate and exquisitely detailed classical work, Breakfast Woodworks can make it all—and make it effortlessly, at that. With respected architect Louis Mackall and master craftsman Ken Field at the reins, the company produces cabinets, moldings and doors, along with individual pieces and wall units.
This six-man fi rm has been commissioned to produce everything from intricate screens for a Sikh temple in Arizona to exquisite woodwork for John Denver in Aspen. In New York City, its commissions include sleek and seamless moldings for a Rothchild’s apartment and the “railroad-style” benches at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Prices run the gamut from $20,000-$400,000 and everything is “absolutely custom-made” in the fi rm’s 10,000-square-foot workshop.
Representative Client Comments:
“Exceptional quality, beyond our wildest dreams.” “Louis Mackall took a napkin sketch and turned it into a collective dream, adding value in the conceptualization and execution where we didn’t know it existed.” “I am an avid promoter of his work.” “They solve problems with ‘outside-the-box’ solutions.”
