FR Review:
Transforming the client's concepts into a magical oasis of original thought, Toni Gallagher has won the admiration of many. With a palette of soft greens, crèmes and golden yellows anchoring the work, tailored furnishings are harmoniously balanced against the fine antiques collected by Gallagher on her frequent trips to England. Thus, a level of finesse is achieved that is well priced and "does not look decorator-done." Clients say she can "do it all"--from large-scale preppy to high sophistication and everything in between.
After working in investment management for several years for big banks, Gallagher started with a few smaller interior design jobs, and the clients response was so positive that she "just kept going." Eighteen years later, Gallagher keeps the touch personal with one "outstanding" assistant and only about three major jobs at a time, mostly in Rye. All clients say they feel like her top priority.
Younger people with limited budgets may work with Gallagher on an incremental basis or more frequently, whole houses are redone. Product is bought at Classic retail and workroom costs at Reasonable markups. Repeat work is the norm.
