Gardens designed by Katie Brown are described by her clients as "elegant and charming without being pretentious." For over twenty years, Brown has been creating gorgeous landscapes throughout Fairfield and Westchester counties. Although Brown considers herself to be an independent landscape designer (with Cheryl Bailey), she still takes on between twenty to thirty projects per year. Brown can design anything from simple flower beds to swimming pools. Once the design process is completed, we hear that Brown is a "phenomenal mediator" between the client and the contractor, insuring that her designs are implemented correctly.
Brown's background in art history, along with a certificate in landscape design from The New York Botanical Gardens, has given her a strong foundation for designing backyards using a wide array of colors and textures. Brown charges an hourly rate of $125 for design.
