FR Review:
A second-generation master cabinetmaker, the enthusiastic and young Steve Fanuka has some serious fans. The firm designs, builds and installs interior millwork in New York, Fairfield and Westchester and performs general contracting duties on interior renovations in and around Manhattan. While the firm has even done work for the White House, its services are available to John Q. Public.
Principal Steve Fanuka apprenticed with the same craftsman in Croatia who taught his father, spending summers pulling nails out of cabinets, straightening them and re-setting them in order to learn how to respect the wood. Steve and project managers oversee installations, while his father, Rod, still at it, keeps the mill shop running masterfully. Clients find this firm "friendly, busy, but reliable."
Representative Client Comments:
"Actually returns phone calls, albeit at night. Has a project manager, which makes life easier for all." "Will come back for any complaint, any time in the future and will throw in extras on the job." "Fanuka makes some of the most beautiful cabinetry around."
