Industry professionals and clients alike agree that Audio Command Systems is one of the premier designers and installers in the country. With offices in New York, Los Angeles and Southern Florida, and over 75 on staff, it is also one of the largest. What do its behemoth size and over four decades of experience mean for the client? For one, sources say ACS excels at “being all things” to their clients— they can deliver a simple home theater setup, or a complete bells-and-whistles installation with remote monitoring and energy management (“not many people can beat them on pure tech”). For another, it generally means the firm prefers large installations, ranging anywhere from $100,000 well into the millions.
While we have heard that this firm is quick to respond to architects, contractors and clients with large installations, some say smaller projects can get a “B” team.
