FR Review:
A one-man show with some part-time help, Angelo Bordonaro does things the correct way, but it can take some time. After working in Italy and on several cruise ships--upholstering while afloat, Bordonaro came to the States in 1983 where he worked on projects for five star restaurants in NYC and Long Island, and then with one of the areas most prominent upholsterers. In 1987, Bordonaro set up his own shop in a 2,000-square-foot workspace. Several big-name Greenwich and New York decorators recommend the firm, but only for smaller jobs. Prices speak to the outstanding quality of the work, which generally takes about three to four weeks for re-upholstery and eight weeks for custom work. ASID.
