Muralist Clifton Jaeger delivers old-world style creations rich with texture and glazes painted on linen or canvas. He and his small team do all of the painting in their studio, then transport and install the work--which is convenient for the client. Whether it is working with decorators and architects or directly with homeowners, Jaeger can create a one-wall mural or many feet of exquisite, hand-painted wall covering. The murals can be fitted to the wall or hung like a tapestry--either way, when the client moves, so does the mural.
Inspired by old masters in his grad school days in Venice, (he did his undergraduate work at the Rhode Island School of Design,) Jaeger makes his own paints with medieval and renaissance recipes using natural earth and organic pigments. The result is non-toxic, with a handcrafted appearance. We hear that Jaeger's results are so fabulous they often get compared to the icons who influenced him.
