Launched in 1959, Lyric remains on the cutting edge by identifying
trends early. A pioneer of custom installation as well as the creator
of some of the nation's first remote-controlled audio installations,
founder Michael Kay earns respect and approval from references and
peers alike. His two top employees, Leonard Bellezza and Dan Mondoro,
by then with Lyric for 27 years and 20 years respectively, took over
the operation in 2004, but Kay remains in the store on a daily basis
and is still very much involved. The firm's staff of nearly two dozen
includes project managers who act as liaisons with customers, with
