This long-standing firm specializes in the stripping, refinishing and refurbishment of old woodwork, doors, stairways, window casings, shutters, cabinets and furniture. It also finishes new installations. Most of East End's work is performed on-site in New York City and the surrounding Tri-State area. The company teams with architects, decorators and contractors as well as with homeowners on projects ranging from a fireplace mantel to larger jobs, with budgets from $20,000 to $50,000.
Owner Dean Camenares brings over twenty years of experience to this family business, established in 1959 by his father-in-law. Camenares with a staff of seven, oversees every detail. Basic refinishing is $400 to $500 per door and $200 and up for basic window, shutter, casing and sash refinishing.
