FR Review:
With a stroke of grace and an allure of form, Lynn Morgan's rooms, be they clothed in cotton stripe, linen check or unlined silk, are unassuming yet sophisticated. Described as home sanctuaries by their owners, the spaces sparkle in the voluminous light and also speak to their purpose. Kitchens are opened with enamel white, stainless and workable marble counters and living rooms are warmed with simple lines and welcoming textures to encourage family play. Morgan is also hailed for her practical nature and client focus.
Morgan has been in and around decorating for 25 years. A decorating editor at House Beautiful for many years, Morgan moved to Connecticut and started her own business in 1985. Along with a business/project manager, Morgan has about five major projects and a good number of smaller ones going at a time, mostly close by. Budgets can range from tiny to larger, but are all thoughtfully composed.
A smaller up-front fee is taken along with Classic retail, but a wide variety of product choices are considered. With very few tassels and trims, and less yardage on the tailored curtains, the costs are further mitigated.
