After studying and working in the field of neuroscience for eight years, Insolia took a course in design as a creative outlet. Soon Insolia quit her day job, enrolled at Parsons and is now professionally pursuing her passion for design and the decorative arts. In 2000, Insolia Designs was formed as a sole proprietorship, doing a limited number of homes each year in the Westchester area. Clients tend to be young with families, looking for an easy, comfortable environment.
Just spreading her wings, Insolia charges no design fee, a Low markup on product and Reasonable hourly non-commission rates. A wide variety of product choices are considered with a proclivity toward excellent antiques but an eye to meet budget. Clients feel very lucky to have found Insolia before her "inevitable rise."
