FR Review:
Lillian Heard specializes in decorative techniques including Venetian plaster, marmorino and traditional lime putty plaster—producing walls that resemble polished marble, stone, or fresco. In addition to her skills in specialty plasters, Heard is known for the spare style of her “atmospheric landscape” murals. She and her small team also do painted floors, stenciling, and glazes.
Trained at the Art Institute of Chicago, Heard has been attending to clients in New York City since 1994. Her first job was the Dakota Jackson showroom wall at the D&D building. She does some work internationally. Prices are in line with the going rates, but fans say their chief reason for choosing Heard is her “elegant, but durable” work.
