FR Review:
Without missing an inch of possible design expression, clients report that Trish Reger delivers comfortable elegance with "baronial wonder." Beginning most rooms with a luxurious and intricate rug, many patterned fabrics add to the textural composure with damasks, tapestries, plaids and wovens each playing a role. Window treatment designs are another area of detailed craftsmanship, with elaborate layers, trims and fringes. Clients are completely enamored of Reger's diligence and intricate specifications.

After graduating from Mt. Holyoke in English and studio art, Reger did a brief stint as a set designer. She attended The New York School of Interior Design and then worked at Donghia for several years, forming her own interior design firm in 1989. Currently there are five on staff, with "excellent teamwork." Reger has an office in New York City as well as Connecticut, where about 60 percent of the work is done. Building long-term relationships is a priority--four projects have been completed for Steven and Candice Stark of Stark Carpet and others have done three projects with Reger over the last twenty years.

Reger works with a substantial up-front design fee and Reasonable markups on product, which can go from value to the max. She is very involved in the structural issues and often takes a turnkey approach--everything from the china to the toothbrushes may be supplied. Working at a highly deliberate pace, it is said that the designer "gets everything right." ASID. NCIDQ.

Representative Client Comments:
"Trish did everything from the exterior color of the house to the hardware inside." "The architect said to me, ‘I thought that I was good, but she is better,' when Trish located the perfect wood beams." "I just told Trish that I liked earth tones and not to make it too formal and she took it from there." "We have worked with other decorators before, but Trish was the only one who totally followed through." "She thinks before she acts." "Trish is a perfectionist herself and demands a lot of the subs." "As an architect, I can report that clients don't just like Trish, they love her."
