FR Review:
While most clients hire the firm for their evocative, high-quality, classic lines of yesteryear, many are also attracted to the firm's philosophic predilection for "green" and allergy-sensitive materials. Supporters say Dujardin is like a scientist, with an amazing knowledge of materials. Designs will often feature strong, traditional, handsome millwork that juxtaposes comfortable, clean, neutral seating with a touch of country chic.
Dujardin began her firm over twenty years ago, after graduating from Southern Connecticut State University and taking courses at NYU and Parsons. Most the of the firm's work is in Manhattan, Connecticut, and Nantucket, where Dujardin has a home and spends about half her time. Responsive to the clients' interests, Dujardin leads the design decisions and the project managers implement them. The firm also provides a turnkey service including linens, cookware and houseplants.
Clients say that Ms. Dujardin is quite expensive, but well worth it if you are particular. The firm charges a flat design fee and Classic retail, and also offers hourly environmental consulting. She is generally regarded by clients and experts as a leader in her field, having won numerous accolades from the environmental industry. ASID.
