Working primarily through decorators, John A. Weidl Inc. is considered by many to be one of the best painting outfits in the area. Sources say they are "as professional as it gets," noting the fact that crews work hard to build a relationship with the homeowner. John A. Weidl Inc. is known for its extraordinary attention to detail, and clients concur, raving that every single brushstroke is handled with care.
This large firm, established in 1975, performs decorative painting in the form of glazing, faux finishing and trompe l'oeil in addition to straight residential painting, which we hear is exquisite. Freelancers are brought in for mural work. Some references have told us the firm's pricing is reasonable, while others feel it is quite high. But all agree on the quality of the work and say it is worth the price.
