FR Review:
Impressing celebrities and top designers since 1987, Dean Barger and his small team have developed quite a following for their sophisticated murals, multilayered stenciling and high-end faux finishes. (In fact, some say they are reluctant to share him with the public.) Dividing his time between New York City and Maine, Barger, who has a fi ne arts background and studied in Europe, is described as pleasant, low-key and an absolute delight to work with. In the midst of his busy schedule, Barger finds time to teach faux finishes and mural painting at the NYSID. We hear his work is inspired, and his rates more than fair. KB 2002, 2005.
