FR Review:
Wood Floors Direct focuses primarily on installing hardwood floors. The firm works with both domestic and exotic woods and will also refinish, sand, stain, pickle and repair floors. We hear that Gerry Flynn and his crew are professional and knowledgeable about their craft. Pricing is generally by the square foot and estimates are free. There is, however, an extra charge for prepwork.
The firm is a sister company of East Side Floors of Manhattan (est. 1985) and moved to its present home in Scarsdale in 2002. It serves both residential and commercial clients in areas like Greenwich, Scarsdale, Putnam County, Rockland County and Fishkill. The firm has installed floors in the Foxwoods Casino and the Time-Life Building in Manhattan. Wood Floors Direct is a member of the National Wood Flooring Association and has been featured in Home magazine and Journal News.
