FR Review:
Loyal clients describe third-generation principal Robin Miller as reliable and attentive, and her work as “brilliant and superb.” Established in 1967 by Robin’s father David, a restorer from Brooklyn, this three-person firm restores European antiques and mounts sculpture for private clients, the trade, dealers and museums. The company’s French polish and gilding draw praise, as does its expertise in 18th-century European furniture. Clients also love the reasonable prices.

We hear Miller is extremely accommodating and will tailor the restoration job to the quality of the piece, so no job is too small. Over the years, the firm has done work for some of Manhattan’s most famous residents. Miller, who received training at Christie’s in London, teaches courses in European furniture construction and connoisseurship of French furniture at NYU. She has also been a guest lecturer at Christie’s in New York and Parson’s School of Design. Miller is a member of The Furniture History Society and The Appraisers Association of America.

Representative Client Comments:
“Always on time. Great attention to detail.” “Everything they’ve done for me has been first class. No one else can compare.” “I have worked with two generations of Millers and am now on the third. Obviously, I am more than satisfied with their work–in fact, I’m ecstatic!”
