FR Review:
Clients go Craz-y for this Long Island-based woodworker's "great ideas and great eye." A favorite resource among top-tier trade professionals, Craz's projects range from a $2,000 side-table to $400,000 casework packages. Sources say the company is involved from materials selection to finish. We hear this small firm showers its clients with attention. In turn, its Manhattan, Hamptons and lower Westchester/Fairfield clientele shower the inspired end products with praise.
Owner Peter Craz gained a degree in economics and studio art before teaching industrial arts in the Peace Corps in Korea. Upon his return, he embarked on his woodworking career and opened shop in 1983. Craz plays a hand in every project, assisted by a select in-house team and longstanding network of relationships with the area's best finishers and installers.
Representative Client Comments:
"Pete takes the extra step and engineers it." "He did a kitchen for a difficult client of mine and kept everyone happy. Working in pear wood and mahogany, he matched veneers perfectly." "Realizes it takes extra time. Knowledgeable and expensive but worth it."
