FR Review:
This "cooperative," "budget-conscious" contractor is well suited to homeowners interested in having a greater hand in the design of their construction projects. Seakco seeks rehab and new construction assignments with budgets going from $100,000 to over a million dollars. Principal Bob Evans, who studied at the University of Kentucky Architectural School and worked for a construction management firm in Atlanta, started Seakco in 1982.
Evans both collaborates with architects and realizes clients' design ideas himself. He leads a crew of eight, made up of site superintendents and framing/finish carpenters. Insider sources say Evans is "competent, nice to work with" and "not overly expensive for what he does."
Representative Client Comments:
"I have worked with this company for seventeen years in one form or another. Every project has finished on time or early; I have referred them often." "A very reliable contractor. Strong front-end capabilities."
