FR Review:
Sources say John Davis knows high-end residential sound and video. With all of his work being in the residential arena, Davco is known to be a highly competent company with very reasonable rates. In business since 1980, Davis is experienced in designing home theater, A/V, home automation, telephone and lighting-control systems from Manhattan to Cape Cod. The company has a one-year warranty on its workmanship and a 1,500-square-foot showroom that features manufacturers Elan, Lutron, Crestron, Bose and Sony, among others.
Davis and his partner, Greg DellaCort, work directly with clients on most projects, although the company enjoys a steady stream of projects from architects, designers and contractors. The company currently has ten employees, five of whom are installers. About half of Davco's 50 annual projects are big ones with budgets of more than $100,000, although we're told the company does a number of smaller projects ranging from $5,000 to $75,000.
Representative Client Comments:
"Their installation and service costs are hard to beat." "Can do just about anything and do it well." "Doesn't make you feel silly when you ask questions. He knows not everyone understands technobabble."
