The painter of choice for a number of high-end building professionals who cater to Upper East Side clients, Alton offers competent straight and decorative painting and wallpapering. We hear Alton excels in faux finishes, trompe l’oeil, graining, gilding, Venetian plaster and stucco. Unlike many other practitioners (especially for decorative paint work), this firm does all of its own prep work, which we’re told is exemplary.
A native of Croatia, Tom Buric set up shop in 1996. Buric juggles seven projects simultaneously, with excellent results that clients peg to the example Buric sets for his team. Achieving its goal every time, the firm scores high points for quality and price.
