True to his name, Miami-based Raymond Jungles is known for “unique contemporary tropical environments.” His twenty-five years of experience began in 1981, when he received a Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Florida. Influenced by Mexican architect/landscape architect Luis Barragán and Brazilian landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx, Jungles has since gained a reputation for his distinct use of walls, pools and a bold tropical color palette. He's no hedge clipper.
At any one time, the firm handles as many as ten to fifteen projects in various stages, and, according to clients, the fees "reflect the quality of work"--both high. Clients have noted the need to yield to Jungles' artistic vision.
