Established in 1935, Ira Walden & Sons is the elder statesman of Southeast Florida painting. The company’s roots run deep throughout Palm Beach, as well as Jupiter and Singer Islands, where they maintain a strong client base and a reputation as “one of the top three or four.” Now under the guidance of Herman Coleman, the firm offers residential and commercial services that include straight and decorative painting, antiquing and glazing, faux finishes, wallpapering, and historical restoration. The company maintains a “strong, competent, English speaking” staff, about which clients and colleagues admit, “There is little you can throw their way that they haven’t seen or can’t handle.” They are also a pleasure to work with, sources say, and the quality results are on par with the price.
