FR Review:
Ask about Boynton Landscape Company, and “first class” is the response you're likely to get. Principal Robert R. Horner Jr. is the grandson of the firm's founder, J.D. Sturrock, who started the company in 1927 armed only with a pick-up truck, a wheel barrel and his horticultural wits. Since that time, the business has grown into what references have dubbed “one of the premier landscaping firms” in Southeast Florida, providing services from Palm Beach to Miami and the Florida Keys.
The company’s 40 or so uniformed employees, including ten to fifteen foremen, are led by amiable General Manager Mike Cihal. Cihal handles the majority of the project estimations and coordinates the firm's five divisions, each designed to address a particular need: Landscape, Estate Maintenance, Hurricane Protection, Nursery, and Real Estate. Typically handling jobs ranging from $15,000 to upwards of a few million dollars, Boynton is not averse to taking on smaller projects, costing $2,000 or more, depending on location and accessibility. Clients appreciate the firm's 24-hour turnaround time, along with its knowledge and experience, all of which add up to service that is “impeccable."
Representative Client Comments:
"First class work. They were there when they said they would be and were excellent about cleaning up." "They are very particular about all of the materials they use and will drive a long way to get the best specimens possible." "Their accessibility is fabulous - never an argument or disagreement about anything."
